Hello and Welcome to Wellness for Reality! My name is Angelique and I hope to help you live a happier life. A life filled with joy, contentment, and purpose. A life of peace and calm instead of chaos and anxiety.

We are here at Wellness for Reality to provide you with resources for better living – body, mind, and soul. Healthy actions, thoughts, and emotions as a path to a healthy life.

It is full of the ideas, inspirations and meditations that have helped me cultivate happiness in an imperfect world…and I hope it will do the same for you!

As a wife and stay at home mom of 2, I understand the press life puts upon us to be the “perfect” parents, spouses, siblings, students, maids, cooks, etc. Wellness for Reality is about finding that balance in life moment to moment. To continuously find growth without feeling overrun by life.

I’m a firm believer that we create our own realities,  both passively and actively, through our actions, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs.  I also believe that we can change ourselves and our surrounding for the better if we decide that’s what we want and focus on that goal.

Wellness for Reality is a website dedicated to these ends. We are always looking for ways to better ourselves and our lives.

The 3 main focuses here are:

  • Self-Care (cultivate a healthy body, mind, and spirit)
  • Family Fun (connecting with the people most important in your life)
  • House & Home (simplify your surroundings to reflect harmony)

All the ideas we share have helped us in some way, and we hope that they will do the same for you. We hope it helps to bring you balance in an unbalanced world.

More About Angelique…

I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a passion for art and writing, and a love of all the adventure and kindness to be found in life.

I love painting, writing, yoga, coffee, all things Halloween, and playing with my husband and two crazy little girls. And I love finding ways to make life better; more balanced and less stressful, more efficient and less chaotic, more exciting and less boring!

I’ve always done my best to navigate life in a constructive and positive way. Though let’s be serious! Life can sure get you down. Sometimes it feels as if the blows just keep coming; other times it feels like everything is great and you should be happy but you’re just not.

And being a parent is the most difficult. I never fully understood until I become one (who can!), but blessings and praise to all the parents out there. It is hard with all the work, sleep deprivation, long hours, endless laundry and dishes, butts to wipe, dinner to cook, shopping to do, homework…the list goes on.

I created this website to share some of the ideas that I have used to improve our life: meditations, inspirations, holiday traditions, life hacks, and learning aides for children.

There’s a little bit of everything, all meant to make life just a little bit easier, just a little bit better.
